During this course, students will participate in a 2-week first-hand experience in the country of Georgia. They will examine the role and structure of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in Georgian schools as well as related policies. Students will also explore Georgia’s natural and renewable energy resources and their plans for future development. Students will visit classrooms, celebrate Georgian Independence Day and other cultural events, work in an active archaeological dig, and meet with experts in education, technology, and science
