We welcome wind, brass and recorders to join the Wind Ensemble group.

Our popular wind tutor, laoise O’brien, has many years’ experience in teaching young players. Students will also have the chance to play with the full orchestra.

She is the Artistic Director of the mA in classical Strings programme at the University of limerick and a Professor at the cit cork School of music.

Wind the Wind Ensemble course offers wind and brass players a unique chance to explore a full repertoire of classical, jazz, swing and blues music. Players will enjoy the full wind band and orchestral experience as well as playing in smaller ensembles.
