Tech EdVentures Our Vision The ability to design and invent

new things is essential for your kids’ success. We make learning these 21st century skills engaging and fun through hands-on programs that are well-planned, creative, and exciting to kids. Think of us as a high-tech playground where kids learn modern skills like video editing and computer coding. Our campers also learn enduring lessons about creativity, problem-solving, and perseverance. These aren’t just skills. They’re character traits for long term success.

Our Staff

Supervising staff bring their passion for learning to the forefront as they pay attention to the needs of each individual child. Camp counsellors are a carefully selected and trained group of young tech geniuses who share their knowledge while serving as great role models for your kids.

What Your Kids Will Take Away Each week campers build robots, wire circuits, publish interactive videos and write computer code. While we’re proud of these take-home successes, the most important take-away is the feeling of achievement that our campers gain by tackling new challenges.

Digital Kids Film Studio

Squishy Circuits Electronics Lab Learn the science

Campers edit and produce their own video shorts which we’ll publish to our private YouTube channel at the end of the week. Kids learn photography and basic video editing plus a host of computer skills including keyboarding, Windows PC functions and document publishing with the Google office suite.

Minecraft Makers

We took the most popular computer game ever and added a creative twist! Kids work collaboratively on our private server to build a harmonious neighborhood complete with food, shelter and activities for its residents. This unique camp teaches good citizenship and problem solving along with digital design skills.

Learn to use essential tools for capturing, refining, and presenting interactive 360° video. We’ll start with filming technique and video editing basics, then get hands-on with the latest generation of 360 Degree video cameras. Campers publish their own immersive videos that allow viewers to explore freely.

Arduino Robotics:

Mission to Mars

6th-8th Grade Arduino Robotics:

Search and Rescue Step up to real-life robotics challenges by developing a remotely-piloted ‘bot to assist fire-rescue crews. Mission #1: find a missing person; #2: locate a fire in a large building; #3: deliver medical supplies in an earthquake zone. Kids will use RC radio controls, live-streaming video and write C++ code to gather data from infra-red heat sensors. Our most advanced Senior Tech robotics camp.

Digital Animation Lab Learn the

Campers build a NASA style Mars rover by wiring sensors and writing Arduino / C++ code to make their robots drive through mazes, dodge obstacles and perform real-world missions. A hands-on introduction to electronics and coding, two of the most critical skills in applied engineering. One of our most popular robotics camps.

Create amazing digital games using the pro-quality Click Team Fusion platform. Campers develop the logical flow of their game, then create a unique digital environment complete with animated characters, custom backgrounds, and sound effects. A fun and engaging way to explore one of the hottest new sectors of the tech industry.

Digital Game Development Intermediate As Campers gain

more technical and design skills, they move on to create unique digital games based upon their own imagination. They will use more sophisticated graphics, sounds and more complex controls while diving deeper into the underlying code that makes their games function. Prior game dev experience requested.


Senior Tech Camp 6th-8th Grade

Drone Racers Drone Racers will change the way kids see our world as they take video cameras airborne and record their own in-flight film. Kids will begin with piloting basics and aviation safety, then jump into acrobatic/aerial tricks, precision flight exercises, and best of all, drone racing!

Microchip Programming Workshop Learn how to

build your own sensors and circuits using micro:bit, a powerful mini-computer that includes LEDs, direction sensors and a Bluetooth radio that sends information across the room. Campers build a working game console, motion sensor and two-way radio systems using Python and even a bit of JavaScript.

Minecraft Modding with Adventure Maps

After you graduate from basic crafting what comes next? Adventure maps allow players to look for clues, find hidden treasures and carry out missions in custom designed worlds. Tech Campers learn how to download and play adventure maps, then create their own custom worlds full of hidden surprises for others to share. The hottest new development in the Minecraft world.

6th-8th Grade

Python Programming Intro

Learn to code in Python, one of the most widely-used programming languages in the world. We’ll publish several apps during the week including an online alarm clock and a restaurant menu that takes customer orders, learning new code skills along the way.
