SUPREME COURT OF NEW JERSEY

It is ORDERED that, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 43:6A-13, Appellate Division Judge Philip S. Carchman, retired on pension and having given his consent, is hereby recalled by the Supreme Court for temporary service within the judicial system other than the Supreme Court, effective retroactive to September 1, 2012 for two years or until further Order; and

It is FURTHER ORDERED that during this two-year recall and until further order, Judge Carchman will be assigned (a) to the Appellate Division of Superior Court as a settlement judge for the Civil Appeals Settlement Program (CASP) and to handle such administrative assignments as assigned by the Presiding Judge for Administration, (b) to the Civil Division of Superior Court in Mercer County (Vicinage 7), and (c) as a special master, with judicial authority on a statewide basis, to handle certain Civil cases involving the alleged alteration of affidavits, with such cases to be later identified by separate order.
