Seafoam Solid Cut 1 strip 3" x WOF. Cut the strip into 4 rectangles 3" x 10½". Cut 1 strip 8” x WOF. Cut the strip into 6 rectangles 4½” x 8”. Label 3 as A6 and 3 as A7. Cut 1 strip 7” x WOF. Cut the strip into 6 rectangles 5½” x 7”. Label 3 as C1 and 3 as D1.
Gray Shark Cut 1 strip 6½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 rectangle 6½" x 40½".
Jade Solid Cut 1 strip 2¼” x WOF. Cut the strip into 3 rectangles 2¼” x 11”. Label as A8.
Swimming Sharks QUILT ASSEMBLY Refer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics. Shark Block and Row Use foundation piecing to create sections A, B, C, and D with the templates provided. Sew Sections A and B together. Sew Sections C and D to the sides to complete the Shark Block. Repeat to create 3 Shark Blocks. Sew 4 seafoam solid 3" x 10½" rectangles and the 3 Shark Blocks together to create the Shark Row.
Shark Blocks and Row Quilt Center Assembly Referring to the quilt photo for placement of the assorted print rectangles and the Shark Row, sew the rectangles together to complete the quilt center. Borders Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first. Border 1 Side borders should be 42½". Top and bottom borders should be 44½". Border 2 Side borders should be 46½". Top and bottom borders should be 56½". Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Blackbeard’s Pirates Collection.
