Swiss job giant is Firstbird’s latest investor JobCloud, the number one Swiss online recruitment firm, acquires an 8.6% stake of the digital employee referral tool Firstbird. The existing investors, José Tolovi Jr., and the German consulting company Kienbaum, also increase their investments. Vienna / Berlin / Zurich, 21st of June, 2016. With an international expansion on the horizon, the HR-Techcompany, which graduated from Microsoft’s Accelerator Program one and a half years ago, recently closed its second round of investments. The latest investor is JobCloud, the leading Swiss company within the online recruitment market (Jobs.ch, Jobup.ch). The recent addition will add to Firstbird’s impressive portfolio of shareholders that – among others – include the consulting firm Kienbaum, with its affiliated company Highland Pine Investment, as well as José Tolovi Jr., the former chairman of the international consulting firm, Great Place to Work, both of whom have further increased their investment. Overall, the Vienna-based HR-Tech-Company secured EUR 650,000 of growth capital within this round of investment, which adds up to a total of EUR 1.25 million for 2016. “We are very excited about the opportunity to further increase our existing strategic cooperation within the digital recruiting industry, while having gained JobCloud as a new investor,” says Arnim Wahls, CEO, and Founder of Firstbird.
