Issue IBM i PTF SI49556 (IBM i 6.1) or PTF SI49773 (IBM i 7.1) added a new parameter (FROMRCD) to the RGZPFM command. If the PTF is applied only to the source system but not to the target system(s) of your Vision Solutions HA environment (MIMIX, iTERA, or OMS/ODS) and an IBM RGZPFM command is run for replicated files, it can potentially result in an error condition that will require a resynchronization of the files.
Solution Download and apply IBM i PTF SI49556 (IBM i 6.1) or PTF SI49773 (IBM i 7.1) to all systems that are part of your HA replication environment.
• For MIMIX and OMS/ODS, if you have already encountered the error condition (DBERR F-RM error code X0, CPD0043) after running the RGZPFM command, contact Vision Solutions CustomerCare to assist you in resolving the error by resynchronizing the files. • For iTERA, if the E2MSGLOG indicates that you have already encountered the error condition (HAE8193 - RGZPFM failed and returned message CPF0006), ensure the file was automatically resynchronized by reviewing the Objects Sync History Log (1.1, F6, F17). If the file was not automatically resynchronized, contact Vision Solutions CustomerCare to assist you. If your replication environment has a target system at IBM OS V5R4 with a source system at IBM i 6.1 or IBM i 7.1, contact Vision Solutions CustomerCare or IBM to assist you.
