Terms and Conditions for Gill Books Golden Ticket Promotion in association with Hodges Figgis 1. The promoter is Gill Books (“Gill Books”) Gill Books, Hume Avenue, Park West, Dublin, D12 YV96, Ireland in association with Hodges Figgis Dawson St. 2. The Present (“the Present”) consists of a hamper of Gill Books autumn/winter 2016 collection* (see end of page(s) for full list of titles). This Present is not for commercial use. The present is valued at a total of €475.77 RRP.
3. There is a single “Golden Ticket” hidden in one of the Gill Books Autumn Winter Catalogue books being sold in Hodges Figgis during the period 8th to 22nd December, 2016 inclusive (“the Promotion Period”) . 4. The purchaser of any book(s) from the Gill Books Autumn / Winter Catalogue in Hodges Figgis Dawson St. is entitled to claim the Present, subject to these terms and conditions, if they find the Golden Ticket in a book they have purchased. 5 Remember to keep your receipt as proof of purchase as you must present your receipt in order to claim the Present. 6. Gill Books has made a note of the ISBN number of the book in which the Golden Ticket has been hidden. If the ISBN number of the book you purchased does not correlate to the ISBN number noted by Gill Books you will not be entitled to collect the Present. Any customer observed tampering with or searching through multiple copies of the relevant books on display in Hodges Figgis Dawson St. will automatically be disqualified from claiming the present and the observations of Hodges Figgis staff shall be conclusive in this respect. 7. Only purchasers available to attend on an agreed date on or before 31 December, 2016 are entitled to claim the Present. 8. The Present must be collected by the finder of the Golden Ticket by prior arrangement with Gill Books and Hodges Figgis from the Hodges Figgis store at 56-58 Dawson St, Dublin on or before 31 December, 2016. Any expenses incurred by the winner in travelling to collect the Present are a matter for the winner and will not be discharged by either Gill Books or Hodges Figgis. 9. Employees or other personnel working for Gill (Gill Books, Gill Education, Gill Distribution) and their family or employees or other personnel working for Hodges Figgis and their family members and other persons connected with this promotion are not eligible to claim the Present. 10.
The Present is as offered and no cash or vouchers in lieu of the Present may be claimed.
11. Once the Golden Ticket is claimed in accordance with these terms and conditions, the promotion will end even if that date is prior to the last day of the Promotion Period.
12. In order to claim the Present you must agree to have your photograph taken with a Hodges Figgis staff member and a Gill Books representative (at discretion of Gill Books) receiving the Present and further agree to have your name and the photograph published by Hodges Figgis and Gill Books on their social media platforms. The winner must be aware that the story of their win, their name and their photograph may be re-published by third party media outlets and online. 13. The promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into by Gill Books or Hodges Figgis concerning any dispute or complaint about the promotion. 14. Gill Books reserves the right to substitute an alternative title from its overall catalogue to any of those specified below as being included in the Present. 15. The terms on which the Present may be collected and the management of the promotion shall be at the absolute discretion of Gill Books who may change or vary these terms and conditions at any time during the Promotion Period as they see fit.
16. Gill Books and Hodges Figgis accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner arising from his or her travel to or attendance at the specified location for acceptance of the Present. 17. The winner may be requested by Gill Books and Hodges Figgis to participate in unpaid promotion-related publicity undertaken by them or either of them. 18. If the winner is under 16 years of age, a guardian will need to accompany them when collecting the Present and during any associated promotional activity. 19. In the event that the winner does not accept these terms and conditions then Gill Books may decline to award them the Present. 21.
