CHRISTMAS LUNCH

If your child DOES NOT normally stay for a hot dinner please complete the pink flyer that was sent home this week and return it to school before Friday 4th December. Please can you then pay for your child’s Christmas lunch on the council website: www.joinos.com If you need a code to access JOINOS, please e-mail: [email protected] To keep administration to a minimum we would ask that you do not pay by cash. Note : If your child attends Reception, Year 1, Year 2 or you are entitled to Free School Meals, no payment is required.

NURSERY & RECEPTION- TAPESTRY INFORMATION

Thank you to all of the Nursery and Reception parents/carers who have already signed the acceptable use form and started to use our new on-line learning journeys. The feedback we have had so far has been very positive and parents have already started to post their own observations from home.

It seems that a small number of parents are experiencing difficulties when setting up their accounts from the "Reset Password" email. Firstly, please check your "Junk" folder if you have not received an email yet. If you have received a "Password Reset" email, please note that for security reasons the reset link is only valid for 24 hours. If you have any questions, please contact Mr Halliburton via email [email protected] Mr Halliburton will be holding a Tapestry "Drop-in" session on Monday 30th November immediately after school if you would like to get your account set up or would like some support for uploading observations.

SEATON BURN SKIPPING FESTIVAL

On Wednesday the children in Years 3 & 4 took part in the Seaton Burn Skipping festival organised by the School of Skipping. Everyone who took part had a fantastic time. The children were learning to mix their skipping skills- ask your children about doing a ‘bouncer’- we’ll be looking out for them on the playground! The staff from Seaton Burn, The Skipping School and Greenfields were all very impressed with the excellent behaviour and participation of the children. Well done everyone!

NO PARKING REMINDER

Thank you.

A big thank you to all those parents and carers who have found alternative places to park other than on The Green on Taylor Avenue. Please be reminded that The Green is a no parking zone- we ask that parents and carers are considerate of local residents when collecting their children from school.
