ATTENDANCE We want every child at Greenfields to achieve their full potential and the government have made it clear that good attendance is central to this. Missing out on lessons leaves children vulnerable to falling behind and children with poor attendance tend to achieve less. We are currently updating our attendance procedures in line with the latest government guidelines. By law, all children of school age must receive full-time education and parents/carers are legally responsible for making sure that they attend regularly. During this term Mrs Hardy will be working closely with children, parents/carers, staff and governors to finalise our new policy – we would welcome your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.

UNIFORM REMINDER All children throughout school must be in full school uniform at all times.  White blouse, shirt or polo shirt – completely plain or with school logo.  Jade green sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan with school logo  Grey or black trousers, shorts, skirts, shalwa kameez or pinafores – all completely plain, with no patterns, logos etc.  In the warmer weather, girls may wish to wear green and white check dresses.  Plain black, low heeled shoes Please also be aware that, for Health & Safety reasons, children must not wear jewellery at school and this includes earrings.

We currently have lots of things in ‘lost property’ without names inside. Please make sure that names are inside all items of clothing, including coats and PE kit, so that lost clothing can be returned as soon as possible.
