SPORTS DAYS You should have received a letter this week inviting you to one of our Sports Days. We have organised the Sports Days for children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in Houses instead of year groups this year, following feedback from parents who were not able to take more than one afternoon out of work in a week, but had children in different year groups. SCHOOL UNIFORM REMINDER We have received new stocks of uniform this week ready for September. If you need to buy any items, please call in at the school office on Monday or Wednesday mornings, when Mrs Harris will be available to help. Please call in before 3rd July, so that we are able to order any items that we do not have in stock in time for the start of next term. Please note our supplier has increased the cost of our green book bags to £4.00 each.
SUN SAFETY At last we are having some sunny summer days; to make sure that your child is safe in the sun, please check that your child has:
A full water bottle with them every day – containing plain water only A sun hat/cap to wear out on the playground when necessary A PE T-shirt that covers their shoulders (no vest tops please). Sun cream already applied when they come to school

Our annual Summer Fayre will be held after school on Friday 19th June – please put the date in your diary. There wiill be all the old favourites like tombola, hot dogs and face painting, as well some new stalls and games.
FINALLY . . . As the end of term is only 5 weeks away, here are some important dates for next school year:
The dates highlighted in red are Bank Holidays and those in blue are school holidays. In addition to those red and blue dates, the school will also be closed to children for four staff in-service training (INSET) days. Tuesday 1st September 2015 and Wednesday 2nd September 2015 are the first two INSET days, so children will start their new school year on Thursday 3rd September 2015.
