The application process for the 2017 Foundation Scholarship Program is now closed. Please check back beginning September 4, 2017 for application information for the 2018-2019 school year. The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation offers scholarships to students interested in pursuing a degree within the field of agriculture. The number of scholarships and the amount awarded annually is dependent upon funding but traditionally scholarships have been a minimum of $2,000. Please note the following qualifications to be eligible of the 2018-2019 TSCRF Scholarship: ♦ Be accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma and plan to pursue a degree program in agriculture or an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Agribusiness, Range Management or Wildlife) ♦ Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of Texas or Oklahoma. ♦ Be a member or sponsored by a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. ♦ Have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Transcripts from all colleges attended must be submitted. If currently a high school senior, please include high school transcript. ♦ Demonstrate financial need. ♦ Have a background that includes beef cattle production.
