The Blogger Programme COO Job Description Our mission is to become the ‘global influencer market place’ – connecting brands and bloggers. Today we’re working with more than 25,000 social influencers across fashion, lifestyle, food, health, beauty and travel, alongside more than 1,500 brands including an increasing number of global retailers. We are rapidly becoming the ‘go to’ place for brands to run and co-ordinate their influencer marketing campaigns. About the role Reporting to and working in partnership with the CEO, we are looking for an experienced COO to oversee and develop our ongoing operations and procedures. This is a key role within the organisation and you will be responsible for executing the strategy, the day-to-day delivery and operations and continually improving the efficiency of the business. The ideal candidate will be someone from an agency background; an experienced and effective leader who is able to manage the diversity of our business operations. Overall Responsibilities Strategy: • Working with the CEO to create and delivery the business strategy, including short term (1 year) and longer term (3-5 year) plans • Ensuring the successful execution and delivery of the strategy Performance Management: • Ensuring the business continues to evolve and deliver against agreed targets • Overseeing all aspects of daily operations, in particular successful delivery of all revenue streams • Ensure the scalability of the business processes and team • Continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes • Responsibility for business KPIs and ensuring effective measurement and communication • Leading and managing the finance, sales, account management and delivery teams • Setting team targets and objectives • Implementing performance management systems and management information systems • Responsibility for team and individual employee development Financial: Leading the finance team to ensure timely and effective: • Financial planning • Budgeting and cash flow • Managing sales and marketing pipelines • Assisting the CEO in fundraising Requirements • 7+ years’ agency experience (ideally in a director role) • An understanding of, and experience of working within digital marketing and social media • Industry knowledge in influencer marketing • Leadership experience - the ability to excite, communicate and lead a young team of digital natives
