The Ideal Learning Environment Chatham University, founded in 1869 and home to about 2,300 undergraduate and graduate students, is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city in the northeastern United States of America. Chatham’s Shadyside Campus includes the historic, 39-acre Woodland Road arboretum campus and is at the center of the bustling Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Shadyside and nearby Oakland. The average class size at Chatham is 14 for undergraduate students and fewer than 20 students at the graduate level. • Accelerated Graduate Programs enable undergraduate students to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in as few as five years. • The Chatham University 3-2 Engineering Program enables students to enroll for three years at Chatham University and then two years at an accredited engineering school.
