You are all invited to stay for a reception honoring Serena Eckert right after worship today. We will thank her for her 12 years of dedication on our staff, and celebrate her ministry to and with the people of our congregation and our community. Sunday, December 24 and Sunday, December 31—2 things you need to know: 1) No Sunday School is scheduled on these Sundays 2) We will have family worship (no C.R.E.W.) —we encourage families to take the opportunity to worship together. (Nursery available for kids 0-4yrs) 

Also, the church office will be closed Monday and Tuesday, 12/25 and 12/26.

A couple of ideas for things to do during the Christmas Break Youth Lock-In/Out ~ Friday, December 29, 7pm-7am This year, our students will experience top-notch team building through Group Dynamix, traditional Whataburger takeover, an outreach project, and bookoos of games.

Cost: $30/student + Whataburger money Help Needed:  8 drivers from 7pm-1am  1-2 parents to take on the all-nighter challenge For more info—or to volunteer to help, make a note on your Connection Card.

Family Game Night: Friday, January 5 from 7:00-9:00pm When was the last time you sat around a table and played games? What a fun way to hang out with friends/family and have a great time – without spending a lot of money! Well that’s the plan on Friday, Jan 5 here at the church. Whether you have a favorite game you’d like to play, or if you’re keen on learning a new game, we’ve got cha covered.  We will provide fresh hot popcorn. Bring your own non-alcoholic drinks.  We will have 6-8 ‘hosted’ tables – meaning someone at the table is prepared to teach a game to whoever wants to sit at that table and learn/play.  You in? Please RSVP on your Connection Card—it will be VERY helpful to have some idea of how many people to expect.  If you would like to host a table / bring a game you’re willing to teach others, make a note on your Connection Card—Jennifer will follow up with you.
