The Vestry of the Church of the Nativity and St. Stephen are blessed with the Kyle Weller Educational Grant program to aid the young adults of our parish who are pursuing undergraduate studies at an accredited post-secondary educational institution. The program will offer scholarship grants of $500.00 each. We offer this program to help the families in our parish to meet the ever increasing costs of higher education. All active baptized members of the parish, i.e. those persons whose names are listed in our parish register either through baptism at Nativity or St. Stephen or through an official Letter of Transfer into our parish will be eligible to apply. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of the following criteria: A. The student and/or their parent(s) must be supporting members of the parish for at least one (1) year. B. The applicant will have received communion at the parish at least two times per year and will continue to do so while receiving the grant. Students interested in applying for a grant should complete an application form which is available in the office. The absolute deadline for receipt of the application is June 1st. All grants awarded will be announced by mid-July. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the church office.
