iwin celebrates 5th birthday

2

012 marks the 5-year anniversary of University of Kentucky’s Institute for Workplace Innovation (iwin). There was no better way to celebrate than to reach 40 Partners – iwin’s original goal for the Innovative Employer Roundtable, a network of executives and human resource decision makers from innovative Kentucky organizations. These Partners are committed to addressing workforce challenges of the 21st Century to create high-performing work environments. iwin Partners recently convened at UK’s campus for the semiannual Innovative Employer Roundtable meeting on May 9-10. The theme of the meeting was “Relationships: The Key to an Innovative Workplace” and demonstrated that social supports and positive relationships at work can enhance employee job satisfaction, retention and health outcomes. Roundtable meeting participants were inspired by nationally recognized researchers and practitioners who shared solutions to workforce challenges organizations are facing today. Participation in the Innovative Employer Roundtable is limited and by invitation only. For more information on Partnership and events scheduled for 2012, please contact Lynn Bertsch, Director, Employer Engagement, 859-323-0581 or visit iwin.uky.edu. Read more about the May Roundtable meeting in this Press Release. Learn more about the Innovative Employer Roundtable here.
