Remove trunk inner panel. The horizontal piece near the hinges is the one to be removed first. There are two screws at the bottom covered by lids.

Once panel is out, find your way to mount the camera-integrated handle.

Prepare to run the power wire, signal wire, and video cable through the rubber hose. This step is difficult. But, I can finish this step under 5 minutes every time.

The trick: I use a long zip tie to fish the cable, with lubricant (WD-40, motor oil, anything). Have a helper to help you pull the cable out. Use strength, but don’t pull too hard. The cable internal can break. Use adequate amount of lubricant.

The signal wire tap on to reverse light’s power wire. The reverse light’s power wire is found by the right taillight bulb change area. Find the reverse light’s power wire with a test light, with a helper to help you shift to reverse gear.

Ground: use a good ground, not painted surface. You can tap it to license plate light’s ground wire for example.

The power wire and video cable route: Loose the black panel to make it easier.

Find the way out to bring the video cable and power wire to the front. I don’t really remove any trim panel from this point.

Move the seat to the front to make running wiring easier. A screw and a bolt need removal.

I did not remove the door sill trims and the dead pedal. I feed the video cable at the yellow spot, and use my long zip tie to help fish the cable up.

Connect the power wire to fuse box, find a slot with 12+V when ignition is at ON position.
