Create and Submit Your Employer Agreement Today Log on to Benefits Connect by September 30, 2016, to create and submit your Employer Agreement detailing benefits you will offer employees during annual enrollment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO • Log on to Benefits Connect and choose Employer Agreement at the top of the page.

• Read all the information and follow the Employer Decision Support step-by-step directions. • Model as many scenarios as needed — each model will be saved automatically. • Decide on final benefits selections and costs for 2017. • Submit selections through Benefits Connect to create the Employer Agreement NO LATER THAN September 30, 2016. • Discuss with employees the 2017 benefits options available during annual enrollment (October 17–November 11). • If requiring employee contributions, offer employees the opportunity to make contributions on a pretax basis (view Tax-Advantaged Plans web module on pensions.org for assistance). If you do not create and submit an Employer Agreement by September 30, 2016, your employees will not be able to make 2017 elections on Benefits Connect during annual enrollment.

HOW TO GET STARTED • Visit pensions.org, and select Log On next to the Benefits Connect logo (top of page). • On the next screen, select Employer Agreement, read all the information, and follow the instructions. Select Resources & Support at the top for more guidance. • On the final screen, when prompted for your Employer Identification Number (EIN), enter your Federal Tax ID — NOT the Board employer ID (PIN) used to log on to Benefits Connect.

Not Registered for Benefits Connect? Registering is easy! 1. Before you start, make sure you have your • Board 5-digit Employer ID number (PIN); • billing ZIP code; • current invoice amount (no $ or comma); and • a valid email address. 2. Select I am a new user on the Benefits Connect log-on page. 3. Select I am an employer representative on the Create User Profile Step 1 page. 4. Complete the employer registration form on the Create User Profile Step 2 page. 5. Check your inbox for the New Registration email; click the link to go to the screen to create your User ID and Password. 6. Enter your employer ID (PIN), then create a User ID and Password (click on the blue question mark next to User ID and Password for setup criteria).
