The Angus REMS200 stainless steel fire monitor is designed for electrical remote control in both the horizontal and vertical planes and for remote control of a fog/jet nozzle or branch pipe spreader where fitted.

All Electric motors are provided with manual override handles to enable the monitor to be steered manually if power fails. All REMS monitors are based on a proven low maintenance design developed over 20 years

Electric motors, fitted to the monitor body, move the waterway in the horizontal and vertical planes while solenoid valves channel water pressure via hydraulic pistons to move a fog/jet nozzle or foam cannon spreader.

Monitor materials Stainless steel body to AISI 16 / SS316 Material certification to EN 10204 3.1 is available on request

Manual operation: The electric motors for the horizontal and vertical movements are fitted with hand wheels for manual operation in the event of failure of electrical power. Inlet connection Standard flange 6” ANSI 150 RF. (DIN and non standard flange options available) Outlet connection 6” ANSI 150 RF (alternative outlet connections are available to match cannon and nozzle options)

Electrical power is normally supplied from a remote control panel. A slave or secondary panel can also be sited close to the monitor.

Bearing materials

Both the Electric motors, the master and slave panels and the solenoid valves can certified for use in areas where explosive gasses may be present.

The Angus monitor range includes bronze models up to 8,500 l/min and stainless steel models up to 50,000 l/min.
