Are you looking for the opportunity to learn and grow in stable, profitable and growing company? Singer Valve is looking for a Applications Engineer/Technologist to work in our Surrey B.C. Facility. As our new Applications Engineer/Technologist you will be working closely with existing long term employees to learn how our piloted control valves work in the applications we serve. . RESPONSIBILITIES  Design applications for both water and or electrical circuits  Mechanical design utilizing 3D/2D CAD Systems  Applications of water systems including valves, pumps, pressure controls in municipal, commercial and industrial environments.  Customization of products to provide solutions to customer requirements  Testing of designs to ensure product reliability and performance  Cooperate with other departments to provide miscellaneous engineering details  BOM creation and Maintenance in corporate ERP  Continuous improvement of existing equipment SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES  Strong communication and collaboration skills to resolve issues  Good understanding of ERP systems – Syspro or equivalent  Skilled at using CAD systems specifically Solidworks/Draftsight  Analysis software knowledge an asset  Fluency in Mandarin and asset. QUALIFICATIONS  Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer or Technologist – with P.Eng, EIT, AScT, designation, eligibility or equivalent experience.  Experience in a manufacturing environment dealing with complex design manufacturing situations.
