OUR PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE : HAPPY 2012! I hope you are all enjoying the New Year and had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends. As we begin this year, I challenge each of us to stop and enjoy those things that we’ve missed out on because we have been too busy. Maybe it has been your participation in our St. Louis Alumnae chapter. We have a great schedule of events for this year, so I hope you will make time to join us for a few of them, to reconnect and remember how great it is to be a DG. In the spring we will elect new officers and I encourage you to consider serving as an officer in our chapter. The commitment is moderate but the rewards are great! It’s important for all of us to continue the tradition of sisterhood and share in the work to make this chapter a success. Please feel free to contact me or any of our current officers for more information. Every spring the alumnae of St. Louis celebrate Founders Day with our two St. Louis collegian chapters, Eta Theta- Saint Louis University and Alpha Epsilon- Washington University. This year the event will be held on March 31 at Moulin and I hope to see many of you there. It is a great way to celebrate our sisterhood, reconnect with fellow alumnae and meet the collegians who are continuing the tradition of Delta Gamma. St. Louis Alumnae Panhellenic Association Panhellenic Ladies Night Out Scholarship Boutique April 26 from 5:30-8:30 pm Meadow Brook Country Club Proceeds from the Scholarship Boutique benefit the St. Louis Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship Fund. Each year the St. Louis Alumnae Panhellenic Association provides over $6,000 in scholarships to young women from the St. Louis Metro Area. Over 30 women-owned businesses will be on hand selling jewelry, clothing, accessories, customized gifts, stationary, purses, health and beauty items.
