Touch of Life Contest Rules Writing There are three categories that all submissions will fall into:

3rd – 5th Grade Writing Contest Rules      

Student must be in or at the age of students within 3rd through 5th grade. Stories/experience must be your original work. Must be written on one of the designated topics. Submissions must be in electronic form through our website More than one entry per student is acceptable but will be only eligible for one prize. Suggested Length of the submission should be 300 – 400 words.

6th – 8th Grade Writing Contest Rules      

Student must be in or at the age of students within 6th through 8th grade. Stories/experience must be your original work. Must be written on one of the designated topics. Submissions must be in electronic form through our website More than one entry per student is acceptable but will be only eligible for one prize. Suggested Length of the submission should be 450 – 600 words.

High School (9th – 12th Grade )Essay Contest Rules      

Students must be in or at the age of high school students. Essay must be original work. Essay must be in a 5 paragraph form. Essay must be on one of the five designated topics. More than one entry per student is acceptable but will be only eligible for one prize. Suggested Length of the submission should be 600 – 750 words.

College Essay Contest Rules      

Students must be in or at the age of college students. Essay must be original work. Essay must be in a 5 paragraph form. Essay must be on one of the five designated topics. More than one entry per student is acceptable but will be only eligible for one prize. Suggested Length of the submission should be 600 – 1100 words.
