Welcome to the Parade of Homes! On behalf of the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association, welcome to the 2018 Lowcountry Parade of Homes Tour! This greatly anticipated public touring event has been part of our local area for nearly 30 years, providing both residents and visitors the rare opportunity to enjoy a 360 degree view of the design, amenities and craftsmanship offered by many of the Lowcountry’s top home builders and communities. A remarkable 21 homes, as well as 2 communities are featured on this year’s tour, with tour hours extending over three days and locations reaching from Hilton Head Island to Northern Beaufort County and everywhere in between.

Just as our area has grown and evolved over time, so too has our annual Parade of Homes Tour. We are excited to bring you this brilliant 11th edition of our Lowcountry Parade of Homes Guide, your complimentary resource for touring all of the homes and communities on this year’s tour. We also encourage you to visit our newly redesigned website, where you can register for your tour pass, get details about the homes and builders featured on the tour, and even download our Lowcountry Parade of Homes Tour App. This new and exciting feature will give you direct access to all tour details, including your tour pass and turn-by-turn directions, from your tablet or smartphone. The members of the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association take exceptional pride in building quality homes and look forward to not only putting their talents on display but sharing their passion for building and providing their clients a once in a lifetime opportunity to create the home of their dreams. It is the natural landscape, along with the breathtaking beaches, rivers and marshes that make the Lowcountry one of the top locations in the world to live and visit. Continuing with our community outreach efforts, we will be donating a portion of all 2018 Parade of Homes Tour Ticket proceeds back into our community. In 2016 and 2017 we donated over $4000.00 to a variety of local organizations including: The Hilton Head Home Builders Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization administered by the Hilton Head Area HBA and formed to support and raise funds for continuing education throughout Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton Counties. The committee awarded ten local graduates with $3500.00 each May of 2017 and hopes to continue to grow not only the dollar amount they award but also the number of recipients. A portion parade proceeds was also donated to Beaufort County PALS organization for their youth athletic programs, Beaufort Jasper Volunteers in Medicine, First Zion Missionary Baptist Church Food Pantry, Waddell Mariculture Center, CCA of South Carolina, the Hilton Head Civitan Group and Programs for Exceptional People. You’re not just touring a home, you’re giving back to the community and we are grateful for your support. Welcome! Once you’ve registered for your Tour Pass, you are set to begin touring homes at your leisure and in any order during official Lowcountry Parade of Homes Tour dates and times. TOUR TIPS & POLICIES

Each home featured in the Lowcountry Parade of Homes is either already owned or will soon be owned by a family looking forward to moving into their new home. Please be respectful of these private homes and the personal belongings of homeowners by adhering to the policies outlined below.

• At the discretion of the home builder, the only animals permitted in tour homes are service dogs. • Eating and/or drinking inside tour homes is not permitted. • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the tour property.

• Parking at tour homes is limited to driveways and designated areas. Parking is not permitted on any of the neighboring properties, on grass, on the street or streetside, unless clearly marked. Parking within communities are subject to the rules of that community. The touring guest is fully responsible for property damage, ticketing and/or towing caused as a result of improper parking.

• Strollers and wet umbrellas will not be permitted inside tour homes.

• Please be aware that touring guests may be asked to remove shoes or wear shoe coverings before entering a tour home in order to keep floors from being damaged.

• Guests who refuse to comply with the policies above and/or any guest causing a disturbance on the property of a tour home may be asked to leave.
