Upon arrival in Zakopane, the tour starts with a ride up the funicular railway to the top of Mt. Gubalowka where you get a marvelous view of the Tatra mountain range. After a stroll on the summit, we return down to visit the historical part of Zakopane with its old highlander cottages, surrounded by ash trees and blackened by the sun. These wooden houses and churches were built in the Zakopane style by the famous Polish artist, Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz. You will also visit the famous cemetery in Peksowy Brzyzek and the wooden chapel in Jaszczurowka.

During a three-hour walk around the city, our guide will show you the most important and impressive sites. Wroclaw is undoubtedly one of the most marvelous places in Poland. Wroclaw is situated on 12 islands, and by visiting the oldest part of the city you’ll visit the most significant of them, Ostrow Tumski (the Cathedral Island). This is the place where St. John the Baptist's Cathedral and the two-storey Gothic Holy Cross Church were constructed in the 13th Century. We then continue our walk to the University, with its magnificent Baroque hall of Aula Leopoldina. The tour ends with a stroll around the Market Square, where you are bound to be amazed by the beauty of the Gothic City Hall.
