Township of Schaumburg to Host Property Tax Appeal Seminar January 22nd January 8, 2018 – Township of Schaumburg Assessor, John R. Lawson, along with Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak, the Schaumburg Township Elected Officials, and Cook County Commissioner Timothy O. Schneider, will host an appeals seminar on January 22, 2018 at 6 pm. The free event will be held at One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL. Commissioner Patlak will explain appeal procedure and share tips for filing a successful appeal. Township and Cook County Board of Review Office staff will be available to answer questions and assist residents in filing appeals onsite after the presentation. The appeals period closes January 31, 2018. Questions can be directed to the Township of Schaumburg Assessor’s Office at (847) 884-0030 between 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
