Peru is one of the fastest growing economies in Latin America. Its skilled workforce, huge territory and extensive resources, as well as a thriving economy, are just a few of the country’s characteristics.

• Meet and network with relevant local partners

The Peruvian government has made significant progress in improving the country’s economic performance in the recent years. This is reflected by Peru’s economic stability, dynamic GDP growth rates of 5.1% over the past 16 years, low inflation and low debt. Peru’s positive external environment, prudent macroeconomic policies and structural reforms in various areas are steadily improving the country’s economic prospects, making it a promising emerging market. Such reforms focus on increasing the confidence of private investors, with the aim of developing world trade integration and introducing the country to relevant markets. Alongside its strategic position for the Brazilian markets and its role as an outlet to China, Peru is currently considered to be one of the world’s top emerging markets.
