The Summit and Post-Summit are approved for up to 26.5 Continuing Education (CE) credits for most professions. IVAT is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. IVAT maintains responsibility for this continuing education program and its content. IVAT has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5659. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. IVAT is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. IVAT is approved by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (PCE #33) to offer continuing education for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs. This Summit meets the qualifications for 26.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. IVAT is approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses to offer continuing education for nurses (CEP #13737). IVAT is approved by the State Bar of California to offer Minimum Continuing Legal Education for attorneys (#11600). IVAT is approved by the California Association of Alcoholism & Drug Counselors (CAADAC) to offer continuing education for certified alcohol and drug counselors (Provider #1S-03-499-0217). Information regarding continuing education for domestic violence offender treatment providers, child custody evaluators and physicians is forthcoming. Please note that CE credits approved by CA agencies are accepted in most states. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) through the joint providership of Alvarado Hospital Medical Center and IVAT. Alvarado Hospital Medical Center is accredited by the IMQ/CMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
