Do you really believe that the Creator, the Author of Life, who precisely set the billions of stars in their courses, manufactured the magnificent human body, invented language, and did countless other miraculous things, would claim to have authored a Book that constantly contradicts itself and is too hard to understand? Do you know that the Bible not only claims to be the flawless, “God-breathed” revelation of the Creator to mankind, but also proves it to anyone who is honestly searching for Truth? Do you know that there is enough historical proof of the resurrection of Jesus Christ to stand up in any honest court of law? Has anyone ever told you that the Bible is full of contradictions? They were wrong. The closer you look, the better God looks. How closely have you looked? Has anyone ever told you that, “God is mysterious” and you cannot understand Him? Do you know that He says exactly the opposite in His Word? Are you willing to suspend reason, logic, and the laws of language in order to believe supposedly "Christian" doctrines that are in fact not Christian and make absolutely no sense. Do you believe that words have definitive meanings? If so, how could Jesus have been in the grave “three days and three nights” if he died at 3 p.m. Friday and arose early on Sunday? Have you heard that God, who IS LOVE, “allows” tragedy and suffering? Would YOU allow anyone to hurt your loved ones? How could you love and trust God if He were like that? Do you know that is NOT what the Bible says? Have you ever heard that everything that happens is somehow part of God’s “Master Plan,” or that He is in control of everything and “allows” evil things to happen? Do you know that is NOT what the Bible says? Do you know what parts of the Bible are written to YOU and what parts are written to other people in the past or the future? Or are you confused by reading other people’s mail?

From the moment the class began, it had me. In fact, I did not want to go to bed – but I ran out of snacks. From a visual perspective: the setting, the lighting, the color, and the graphics were magnificent. Of course that all sets the stage for the nucleus of the class, which is the Word of God, delivered as only John does it, with professionalism, conviction, heart, and well-proportioned humor. I think one of the most unique things about the class is that one learns the Word of God without realizing it. I think what I am trying to say is that it is so good you don’t realize how much you are learning. It’s not dry; it’s not like a seminar. It’s fascinating, captivating, and absorbing.
