Course Dina Hardy-Creative Writing Studio for all levels: This course is calisthenics for your creativity. We will explore all genres: fiction, non-fiction, flash fiction, poetry, prose poetry, poetry comics, plays. We will abandon labels and create our own genres. This course is about possibilities—the possibilities of language, of narrative, the lyric, and the experimental. We’ll discuss the writing process, and you’ll learn tips and tricks for becoming a more productive writer. Each session, you will respond to in-class writing exercises, share your work, and participate in friendly and constructive workshop discussions. We’ll discuss examples and authors. This is your course. Bring your questions, concerns about writing. Bring work-in-progress. Bring your imagination and desire to create. All levels, all writers welcome. Dina Hardy- recipient of a Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University, Iowa Writers’ Workshop MFA, and Pushcart Prize nomination—is the author of ―Selections from The World Book‖. Her work has been published in numerous anthologies & literary journals, and can be found in print and online.
