Hitachi OneVision ‘Rewards Galore Laser LP-WU6500 Promotion’ Official Terms and Conditions 1. General: These Official Terms and Conditions (these “Terms and Conditions”) govern the Hitachi OneVision ‘Rewards Galore Laser LPWU6500 Promotion’ (this “Promotion”), under which the Business Solutions Group of Hitachi America, Ltd., Digital Solutions Division (“Hitachi”) will offer to each Qualifying Purchaser (as defined below) a Rewards Galore Award (as defined below) each time the required quantity of Qualifying Purchases (as defined below) are made during the Promotion Period. 2. Promotion Period: This Promotion begins September 18, 2017 and ends November 10, 2017 (the “Promotion Period”). 3. Eligibility: This Promotion is open only to university, collegiate and other higher education and professional education institutions located in the United States who have properly registered for the Hitachi OneVision Program (using the link to the convenient online “Registration Form” for this Program located at: http://www.hitachiamerica.us/projectors), met all eligibility requirements of, and been authorized by Hitachi to participate in, Hitachi’s OneVision Program during the Program Period (each, a “Qualifying Purchaser”). IMPORTANT: ELIGIBILITY FOR THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT BEGIN UNLESS AND UNTIL SUCH REGISTRATION HAS BEEN FULLY COMPLETED AND HITACHI HAS ISSUED A HITACHI ONEVISION PROGRAM NUMBER OR IDENTIFIER. Employees, officers and directors of Hitachi and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child or siblings, wherever they reside) are not eligible to participate in this Program. By participating in this Program, Participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions and abide by Hitachi’s decisions regarding this Program, which will be final and binding. 4. Eligible Products and Sales: For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a “Qualifying Projector” means the following Hitachi digital media projector model: LP-WU6500. The foregoing list of Qualifying Projectors may be modified, amended or expanded at any time during this Promotion in Hitachi’s sole discretion and without any requirement of notice to OneVision Program participants. Under this Promotion, a Qualifying Purchaser will be eligible to receive, for every five (5) Qualifying Projectors purchased and registered (in accordance with the below purchase and registration requirements) during the Promotion Period, one (1) complimentary Qualifying Projector (of the same model as the Qualifying Projectors purchased under this Promotion) (a “Complimentary Projector”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, to the extent that some or all of the Qualifying Purchases of a Qualifying Purchaser are not redeemed during the Promotion Period toward a Complimentary Projector of the same model as the Qualifying Projector, such Qualifying Purchases will be allocated to the Qualifying Purchaser’s accumulated Hitachi OneVision Awards Program total at double the normal rate of accumulation (i.e., each Qualifying Projector purchased hereunder will be treated as the equivalent of two (2) Qualifying Projectors purchased under the regular Hitachi OneVision Awards Program). Please refer to the regular Hitachi OneVision Awards Program Official Terms and Conditions for more details. For purposes of this Promotion and these Terms and Conditions, a Complimentary Projector shall be referred to as a “Rewards Galore Award.” Once a Qualifying Purchaser applies a particular Qualifying Projector (based on the applicable serial number) toward a Rewards Galore Award under this Program, such Qualifying Projector cannot be redeemed or applied toward any other Rewards Galore Award hereunder; provided that, such restriction shall not prevent Qualifying Purchasers from eligibility to receive multiple Rewards Galore Awards in respect of their Qualifying Purchases.
5. Obtaining a Rewards Galore Award; To obtain a Complimentary Projector, the Qualifying Purchaser must satisfy the eligibility and purchase requirements set forth above and complete and submit the Program claim form available at http://www.hitachiamerica.us/projectors with all required information. Hitachi will send Complimentary Projector to the Qualifying Purchaser within 6 to 8 weeks after the submission of the redemption request. IMPORTANT: Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, purchases of Qualifying Projectors will qualify for valid registration under this Promotion if they are requested by the Promotion participant to be shipped by or before November 10, 2017. Purchase orders requesting delivery after November 10, 2017 will not be qualify toward this Promotion (but may otherwise qualify toward other OneVision Program offers in effect as of such delivery date). Qualifying Projectors must be registered using the aforementioned claim form by December 31, 2017 to qualify toward this Promotion. Qualifying Projector registrations submitted after December 31, 2017 will be invalid and rejected for purposes of this Promotion. For this Promotion, a copy of the applicable invoice(s) is/are required to be provided to Hitachi as part of such Qualifying Projector registration. 6. Certain Conditions and Restrictions: This Promotion does not apply or extend to purchases of any products other than the Qualifying Projectors and may not be combined with any other Hitachi promotional offer. Any Complimentary Projector furnished under this Program will qualify for the same supplemental warranty benefits thenoffered to registered Program participants (if any) in connection with their purchases of such projectors in brand new, factory-sealed, AStock condition. This Promotion is open only to bona fide Qualifying Purchasers of Qualifying Projectors who properly complete and submit the Registration Form and comply with all other eligibility requirements and provisions set forth or referred to in these Terms and Conditions. All requests for Rewards Galore Awards are subject to review and confirmation for accuracy and veracity and, if necessary, direct contact by Hitachi sales and/or customer service representatives. Hitachi reserves the right to request additional or missing information necessary to confirm proof of purchase/ownership and to ensure any such request is not duplicative, fraudulent or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions or this Promotion. Hitachi is not responsible for, and reserves the right to reject, any incomplete, illegible, duplicative, late, lost or otherwise invalid submissions. Qualifying Projectors must be brand new, factory-sealed, A-Stock models, and purchases of used, demonstration, refurbished or reconditioned models are excluded from this Promotion. If a customer places an order for one or more Qualifying Projectors that cannot be fulfilled during the Promotion Period based on backorder status, the applicable purchaser will be eligible to participate in this Promotion in respect of such units on backorder. Qualifying Projector registrations under this Promotion have no cash value and such registrations may be redeemed toward Rewards Galore Awards only as specifically provided in these Terms and Conditions and may not be also be redeemed toward Rewards Galore Awards or other consideration that may be offered or available during the Promotion Period under any other Hitachi OneVision promotional offer or program. 8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT WILL HITACHI BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF QUALIFYING PURCHASERS’ PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION OR ANY CONSIDERATION RECEIVED OR NOT RECEIVED IN CONNECTION HEREWITH.
