21 - Baw Da Li Village (estimated 900 residents) 

SHELTER: Villagers requested to renovate the main road and to get fly proof latrines for each house.  PROTECTION: Regular protection monitoring and support to women's group on-going. 22 - Ah Nauk Ywe IDP Camp (estimated 3,900 residents)

SECURITY: Agreement was reached between CMC and INGOs/OCHA that all activities will be resumed, and if any problems occur they will be referred to security minister as appropriate. CAMP MANAGEMENT: Repeated complaints about high number of people, especially children, slipping on the walkways - unsafe during the rains. IDPs would like walkways reinforced with stone.  SHELTER: Insufficient shelter for all IDPs due to the new arrivals during 2014. WASH: SI activities resumed. HEALTH: State Health Mobile Clinic opened and cured to over 30 patients on 11th August. FOOD: WFP food delivered (rice, beans, oil, salt, nutrition supplement) in week 1, but not covering more recently arrived IDPs. EDUCATION: LWF has taken on education in the camp. NON-FOOD ITEM: ICRC delivered firewood on 02.07.2014 for all HHs. PROTECTION: Regular protection monitoring, IPA, and support to women's group ongoing. NUTRITION: WFP distributed nutrition powder to malnutrition children and children under 5 years. CHILD PROTECTION: No updates.

No Current CMA – LWF to take over camp in October 2014.

24 - Sin Aing Village 

PROTECTION: Regular protection monitoring and support to women's group on-going.

25 - Kyein Ni Pyin IDP Camp (estimated 4,500 residents)

Issue  

       

CAMP MANAGEMENT: No updates.  SHELTER: No updates. WASH: IDPs report almost all latrines are full, concerns over open defecation. Drainage line full with sand. Hygiene kits distribution (1086 kits in total) finished in August. Construction of Distribution Centre at KNP Jetty finished. SCI handed over to DRC the tented area they used to manage. HEALTH: MHA clinic opened one time per week. State health group and MRCS administered polio vaccinations and ATT for pregnant women on 19th August. FOOD: WFP/Save delivered food rations to 1095 households in week 1. Some new IDPs did not have in distribution list. They need to get food rations right now. EDUCATION: No updates. NON-FOOD ITEM: No updates. PROTECTION: Regular protection monitoring, IPA and support to women’s group ongoing. NUTRITION: No updates. CHILD PROTECTION: No updates.

Status WASH – DRC plan latrine renovation in line with new WASH 2014/2015 project, awaiting final agreement.
