MAKES: 12 BISCUITS

WEET-BIX BREAKFAST COOKIES INGREDIENTS • 4 Sanitarium Weet-Bix, crushed • 1 cup plain flour, sifted

• 4 medjool dates, seed removed and roughly chopped • 1 large apple, coarsely grated

• ½ teaspoon bi-carb soda

• ½ cup craisins, or sultanas

• 1 teaspoon cinnamon • ¾ cup margarine, softened • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

• 1 egg, lightly beaten • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

METHOD 2. Combine Weet-Bix, flour, bi-carb soda and cinnamon in a medium bowl

5. Using 1/4 cup measurements, roll mixture into small balls and place onto a lined baking tray. Lightly press each ball and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked

3. In a separate bowl, combine margarine and vanilla essence

6. Cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely

1. Preheat oven to 180°C

4. Add dry mix into margarine mix and stir to combine. Then add the remaining ingredients
