NEW! 5th GRADE ACTIVITY FEE

Parents of 5th graders please remember to send in $15 in an envelope with your student's name to help offset the costs of the Amazing Race, Colonial Day, and Graduation activities. Our 5th graders really look forward to these events. Thank you!

NEW! SRE AUCTION PLANNING

We are putting together a group of parents to help organize our spring auction. If you have any ideas or connections to running events, we would love to meet with you. Please send an email to [email protected] so we can set up a meeting.

MEDIA VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Looking for a fun way to volunteer at Smoky Row, see your child in the Media Center, and help foster a love of reading in all students? Then volunteer in the Smoky Row Media Center. We need your help aiding students with book selection, checking books in and out, and shelving books as they return to the library! Volunteer once a week or twice per month for a 2-hour shift and make a lasting impact on students. Shifts are: 8:15-10:15, 10:15-12:15 and 12:15-2:15. We are so very thankful for all our volunteers who help make our library a place students can check out books!

MATH PENTATHALON

Does your family love to play games? The Math Pentathlon Team needs parents to act as committee members (to help run things behind the scenes) and coaches who will teach math and reasoning games to students at weekly, after-school practices. Training will be provided! Please click HERE for more information. This club depends on parent volunteers so please contact Anne-Marie Monty ([email protected]) to volunteer or if you have any questions. Registration dates and cost will be announced in September.

BOXTOP CONTEST

NEWCOMER BRUNCH

The first contest of the year is going to be a classroom contest. The class who brings in the most Box Tops will win an Ice Cream Sundae Party! The contest will run through the end of September. You can send in the Box Tops in a Ziploc bag with your student's name as well as their teacher's name. Good luck to all the classes!! If you are new to Smoky Row, please join us for the Newcomer Brunch on Wednesday, September 2nd. It's from 9:30-11:00am at 1462 Stonemill Circle N.
