Description: The membership of the treasurers operating committee is composed of the treasurer from each of the member districts. USPS Payroll Quarter Balancing

Description: Participants should plan to attend all day. A review of all reports and the spreadsheet that will be used during the balancing process will be reviewed in the morning. The Cardboard Challenge

Description: Inspired by the short film “Caine’s Arcade,” learn how to run a cardboard challenge at your school to encourage creativity and innovation. This training will cover the basics of a cardboard challenge, including possible themes, and will also feature a hands-on portion to learn cardboard construction techniques. Building Décor, Shirts and More How to Use a Silhouette Cameo in a School

Description: Explore how to use a Silhouette Cameo scrapbook machine to make bulletin boards and room décor, decorate shirts and bags and much more. Participants will learn the basics of the Silhouette Studio program, where to find free cut files online and how to use heat press and adhesive vinyl with the machine. Exploring INFOhio’s Free Primary Source Resources

Description: Are you interested in teaching your students about local history, the Civil War, the Great Depression or even haunted houses? If so, there is a wealth of free primary source material available online from INFOhio. Primary Source material can be an artifact, document, autobiography, manuscript or a diary written during that point in time. History really comes alive when you are able to read the actual words from those who helped shape it. In this hands-on session, participants will explore Ancestry. com, EBSCO and other electronic resources to find fascinating primary source information, written by the people who lived it. Description: It’s never been easier for students to create videos with phones, tablets and laptops having high quality cameras built in. The challenging part is finding an inexpensive solution to edit and produce the videos. In this hands-on session, particpants will review and try several video editing apps and programs for Chromebook, PC, Mac and mobile devices. Microsoft Basic Excel Training Part 1

Description: This training session will provide attendees with the basics of Excel. Discussion topics will include cell and worksheet formatting, formula and function basics, copy and paste features, print setup and user views. Location: NEOnet Training Lab Dates Offered: February 1, 2018

Basic Excel Training Part 2

Description: In the second session of Excel Beginner training, attendees will receive an introduction to some widely-used formulas, including COUNT, CONCATENATE, IF AND PMT. Intermediate Excel Training Part 1

2018-2019 DASL School Year Initialization (SYI)

Description: SYI is the process of copying your information in DASL from the current year to the upcoming school year. This is done at building level and can be completed at different times for each building in the district. At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to promote students from the current year to enroll them in the upcoming year. This entire SYI/Promotion/Bulk Enrollment process must be completed to start scheduling in the upcoming year. DASL Public Course Request

Description: DASL Public Course Request is the module where students receive a username and password, log into a website and enter their schedule requests for the upcoming school year. Graduation Points

Description: The Graduation Points module is used to verify if students have met all the credit requirements for graduation and show readiness for next steps in college and/or careers. DASL Batch Scheduler

Description: The batch scheduler is the application inside of DASL that will schedule students based on course requests. This training will help set up job parameters to endure the highest percentage of scheduled students for the district. DASL EMIS Calendar Exceptions

Description: During the School Year Initialization (SYI) process, buildings will put their non-attending days from the district calendar into the calendar wizard in DASL. During SYI, there are no EMIS exceptions put on the non-attending days. Due to new changes in EMIS, we will hold a new training based on how to bulk assign these EMIS exceptions for your entire district.
