Traditional minestrone soup or fresh homemade butternut squash soup drizzled with cream both served with warm focaccia bread.

STORNOWAY CROQUETTES

Stornoway black pudding and creamed potato mash seasoned, lightly breaded and gently fried, served with a Scotch whisky cream sauce.

MAC & CHEESE BALLS

Creamy delicious mac and cheese rolled in crispy Panko breadcrumbs and fried until gooey, served on a bed of diced tomato and fresh basil, with a spicy arrabiata dipping pot on the side.

POLPETTE FORMAGGIO

Italian meatballs cooked in San Marzano tomato sauce topped with melted cheese and served with garlic bread on the side.

PACCO RIPENA

Stuffed Italian foccacia bread with sautéed spinach and mozzarella cheese, brushed with extra virgin olive oil and fresh rosemary with a parmesan crust, oven baked and served with a Napoli dip.

HAGGIS ITALIANO

Grilled haggis served over a toasted crostini, topped with a fried egg and drizzled with balsamic and rocket.

BRUSCHETTA CON PEPPERONATA E OLIVE

Marinated red and yellow roasted peppers topped with pitted black olives and creamy mascarpone cheese dressed with sweet balsamic served on crusty Italian toasted garlic bread.

SALMONE VALENTINO

A darne of oven baked Scottish salmon, served on a bed of seafood Italian risotto sautéed in a white wine butter sauce with a touch of chilli and dressed with fresh parsley (light & wonderful).

PIZZA ROMEO

Thin base Neapolitan pizza topped with mozzarella cheese, San Marzano tomato sauce, crumbled Italian sausage, pepperoni and sautéed spicy Scotch beef drizzled with BBQ sauce.

PASTA PARCELS CON SPINACH E RICOTTA

Handmade pasta parcels filled with spinach and ricotta tossed with baby cherry tomatoes in a rich San Marzano plum tomato sauce with touch of fresh cream, and cooked with butter, finished with drops of pesto.

FILLETO ROSSINI (£7 Supplement)

10oz prime Scotch fillet steak slowly cooked, topped with pâté on a toasted crouton, finished with a rich red wine sauce served with a choice of chips, roast potatoes and veg or rice.

POLLO SPUNTINI

Supreme of chicken breast wrapped with Stornoway black pudding and mozzarella cheese pan-fried in a white wine, mustard, whisky cream sauce, served with French fries.

PIZZA JULIETTA

Thin base Neapolitan pizza topped with Fiori di Latte mozzarella cheese, San Marzano tomato sauce, rocket salad and roasted red pepper topped with crumbled goats cheese.

TAGLIATELLE CALABRESE

Nduja Calabrian soft, very spicy sausage pan fried with cream and mascarpone cheese with crumbled Italian sausage finished with a touch of rocket.

ITALIAN BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING

La Vita’s very own handmade fruit candied Italian panettone filled with chocolate and hot custard served with rich vanilla ice cream and finished with oddles of caramel sauce.

STRAWBERRY SNOWBALL DELIGHT

Vanilla and Strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, raspberry sauce and snowball! Finished with a Cadburys 99 flake and whipped cream.

CARAMEL APPLE PIE

American deep filled apple pie topped with caramel served warm with ice cream and dressed with toffee sauce.
