Highway ● Perlis is adequately served with a good network of roads and highway. ● The North – South Expressway, which transverses Peninsular Malaysia leads to the door of Perlis. ● Kuala Perlis - Changloon Highway in Kedah connects Kuala Perlis to the North – South Highway.

Double Tracking Railway ● Double tracking railway was completed in November 2014 ● Travelling time for passenger train from Butterworth to Padang Besar approx. 1.5 hours, while for goods train / freight travelling time approx. 2 hours.
