In a competition with PhD. students, IDT student teams have been finalists in 6 out of the last 10 years in the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) International Instructional Design and Development competition.
With six full-time faculty members, Emporia State’s IDT Department has the largest instructional technology program in the state and is the only program in Kansas which grants a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology.
