VOLUME TWO Good Comics is seeking contributions to volume two of our flagship zine, Dead Singer’s Society. We want your comics! We’ll take illustration and writing, but comics are preferred. A maximum of two pages is allowed per contributor.

Your name (as you’d like it to appear in the zine) Your choice of dead singer Your final artwork as a high-res jpeg or pdf (A5 size, portrait, 3mm bleed) OR up to 800 words of text if you’re submitting writing Your website and twitter handle (optional) Your address for posting your copy of the zine
Please feel free to use as little or as much colour as you would like to. Contributors will receive a physical copy of the zine, and it will then be sold through the Good Comics online store and at our table at conventions. After the initial print run there will be an opportunity to order more copies at cost price should you wish to sell them through your own store or at your own convention table. The following singers were covered in volume one: Kurt Cobain, Poly Styrene, Amy Winehouse, Andrew Wood, Freddie Mercury, Jason Molina, Demis Roussos, Elliott Smith, Dave Gahan, Vivian Stanshall, Roy Orbison, Ian Curtis, Muddy Waters, Frank Zappa, Molly O’Day, Stan Rogers and Jimi Hendrix. As we are aiming to cover new singers in this volume, please don’t submit a piece about someone we’ve already covered. We’ll also aim to tweet about the submissions we’ve received so that you’re aware of any singers that are already taken. The zine will debut at the DIY Cultures Fair in London on Sunday 29th May.
