Bus Trip You are on your own to visit art museums or other free Smithsonian museums around the National Mall, including the National Gallery of Art, The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, The Sackler Museum of Asian Art, African Art Museum, and The American Indian Museum, Nearby are The American Art Museum & National Portrait Gallery and a cab or Metro ride to The Phillips Collection. Participants are also free to visit the museums, monuments and memorials of your choice, and explore exciting restaurants, shops and sights on your own. Wear comfortable shoes! If you wish to tour National Museum of African American History and Culture, visit their website https://nmaahc.si.edu/visit/passes for timed entry passes you sign up for the trip. Limited tickets may be available.

Meet in parking lot of Darling Football Stadium — adjacent to CHTAC 8:00 am

Bus departs for D.C. 9:30 am

Brief stop at Ladysmith Rest Area 10:00 am

Suggest you have a snack on the bus 11:00 am

Drop off at National Gallery of Art 7th St NW & Constitution Ave NW 1:00–3:00 pm

Lunch on your own 1:00–4:30 pm

On your own to visit museums, etc. 4:30–4:45 pm

Meet at Clyde’s Restaurant or MXDC Mexican Restaurant for dinner or dine on your own 6:45 pm
