(7 hrs aprox) - 4 days (T, F, S, S) 3 nights (T, F, S) in Hotel Brennan, located in Puerto San Carlos (PSC).

o Independent WC. o Air conditioning. o Double rooms (if you come by yourself or are traveling in odd numbers, you will need to share room with another expedition member.  Having a private room costs an additional $1,800 mxn (~ $125 usd) - Snacks and food on-board (fruit, chips and ham sandwich) - Your meals in San Carlos. - Ground Transportation: International Airport of La Paz – Port of San Carlos (PSC) - International Airport of La Paz. WHAT´S NOT INCLUDED? - Hotel at La Paz and/or Los Cabos. (arrival recommended on Wednesday or Thursday morning, and departure on Monday). - Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited on board the OOSE but are allowed and on sale at PSC. - Complete gear (wetsuit, mask, snorkel & fins).

Because it is a fishing port there are no scuba centers (yet), we recommend you rent all the gear at La Paz or you can bring your own. OOSE is a snorkeling experience, you do not need a diving certificate or diving gear. WHAT TO BRING? -

Wetsuit 3-5 mm (depending on the season) Fins Mask & Snorkel. Dry bag (to protect your belongings) Long sleeve shirt (need protection for sun and wind) Sweater, sweatshirt or jacket Hat or cap Sun Block Mosquito repellent. If you bring photographic gear – Please consider that it might be a bumpy and wet ride and make preparations accordingly to ensure your equipment remains protected. We are not responsible for any damages your equipment may suffer during an Expedition. REQUIREMENTS

- Basic snorkeling knowledge - Responsibility waiver signed before departure. (Request a copy to [email protected]) - Good physical conditions in general. - Swimming skills - Tolerance to remain at open sea for a prolonged amount of time (waves, winds, tides). RUN-DOWN OF THE DAY: - Departure from dock at 8:45 AM (Aprox) - Start chumming and luring the sharks. This could take from 30’ to 4 hours. - Break (lunch). - Seek for more pelagic life. - Back to port at 18:00 (ish). DISCLAIMER: We cannot ensure that we will have a pelagic encounter with any species. We will put our best practices to lure sharks but there is always a possibility of not being successful, after all we are talking about the big blue. We will do everything in our power to ensure positive results (we have a 90% success rate). However there are always outside factors that may oblige us to cancel the trip. We reserve the right to cancel if:

- We do not meet the minimum occupancy of 5 people: We will update you constantly. Our deadline is one week before the expedition. If we need to cancel the trip your deposit is 100% refundable or you can change your booking for a later date. Your choice. - Weather conditions: We check weather forecasts constantly to ensure that the conditions are optimal for a pelagic adventure. We will send a forecast one week before the trip: if we can’t go to open sea, we will let you know and your deposit is 100% refundable or you can change your booking for a later date. Your choice. - Return before estimated time: The open ocean is unpredictable and conditions can change dramatically whilst at sea. If conditions worsen, we will have to come back to port. In the unlikely event that this happens we have planned onshore activities. - If you decide to cancel the trip, we won’t be able to refund your deposit. (See Terms & Conditions)

WEATHER RELATED EVENTUALITY: If the forecast does not allow a safe Expedition (20-30 knots winds with 2-3 meters high waves), we will be in dire need to cancel the Expedition. If this is the case, we will let you know one week in advance and your reimburse your payment to us in full or you can change your booking for a later date. Your choice. HOW TO GET THERE: Puerto San Carlos is a little town in the west coast of the peninsula of Baja California Sur See map The nearest airport is the International La Paz Airport, located about 3:30 hours away (transportation is included). If you plan to arrive at Los Cabos Airport you need to consider an additional 3 hours of travel time and you would need to cover the extra cost of getting to La Paz. SAFETY: The team will give an informative session on Thursday afternoon, before dinner, at San Carlos.

Swimming with pelagic life (sharks in particular) is a very safe and fulfilling experience as long as you respect the indications and rules given by our staff. A professional guide and a biologist will be in every journey, and they will give the proper information for each encounter. This way we can ensure your safety that you have an unforgettable experience.
