Weaver PTO Happenings: The Weaver Middle School’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is already hard at work organizing for the upcoming fall. We will have spirit wear for sale during the CAT days in August. The Weaver PTO provides extra experiences for students and staff, that help make Weaver great, but to do this we will need to raise funds. We will be asking for donations for our second annual Give Now Campaign! What is GIVE NOW? In the past, we have raised funds by asking students to sell items such as cookie dough, and in return they could earn small prizes. This year we are simply asking for a flat donation to our PTO in the amount of your choice. And remember, the PTO is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization; therefore, your donation may be tax-deductible! There is no selling involved. How can you give? From August 1st through September 15th, Weaver PTO will accept donations through cash, checks and PayPal as follows: • • • •

Are there prize incentives? We will not have any small prize incentives. All the students benefit from PTO through Author visits, monthly incentives, socials, new curtains in the commons and mats in the gym that were added last year. The staff benefits by receiving conference dinners and more. Who can donate? Anyone!!! Weaver Middle School parents, staff, friends, family and neighbors can donate during the "GIVE NOW" Campaign.
