Consultations Squarespace Every website built and maintained by Flipped Vermont operates through Squarespace.com via the Squarespace Circle Developer program, and Flipped Vermont maintains all traffic through Squarespace domains. Current domains can be transferred in to a new Squarespace account, and hosting packages start as low as $12.00 per month. Squarespace hosting fees are not included in the total design package price offered by Flipped Vermont, and must be paid by the customer directly to Squarespace.com. Hosting package pricing and options will be covered in the free initial consultation.

Initial Consultation Flipped Vermont offers a free initial consultation regarding your new web design project. This free one-hour meeting will go over project necessities, desires, and graphics goals as well as pricing options for both Squarespace hosting and Flipped Vermont design packages.

Follow-up Consultations Flipped Vermont, depending on the selected design package, will offer between 2 and 5 follow-up consultations regarding your web design project. Additional consultations outside of the number included in the design package are available at a standard rate of $45.00 per hour.


Customer Preparation Website Theme These design packages operate under the assumption that the customer has a “general” vision for their web design project. A “general” vision is defined as having a concise idea of layout, impressions and color schemes. Flipped Vermont will aid and assist in developing these ideas to their full potential, with the understanding that the more prepared a customer is, the more efficiently the entire project can move.

Website Content Flipped Vermont is not responsible for textual content within the web design project. It is the customer’s responsibility to produce clear, grammatically correct text that Flipped Vermont will transfer to the design project.

Graphics Flipped Vermont is able to produce “basic quality” images and photographs suitable for placeholder images, but it is the customer’s responsibility to produce original, non-copyrighted media for use on the final website.


Maintenance Packages Follow-up Design Maintenance Flipped Vermont will grant the customer administrator access for every website design project built. If the customer wishes to maintain the website on their own accord, they will have the ability to do so. If the customer wishes for Flipped Vermont to make any administrator changes, Flipped Vermont will charge a separate invoice for services rendered depending on the maintenance package selected. Flipped Vermont offers two separate packages for maintenance hours; the option and selection of either one comes standard (at no extra charge) with the purchase of any website design package.

Simple Maintenance Package A website requires consistent maintenance as well as updating. This package reduces the hourly maintenance rate for your website to $40.00 per hour for any change requests made or fixing of broken elements.

Advanced Maintenance Package Geared more towards business and commerce websites, this package acts in a similar capacity as a contract. If you have constantly rotating products, news, media or more on your website which requires a more consistent update schedule, this package is most beneficial. Maintenance rate is reduced to $45.00 per hour, with an additional benefit – a standard emergency response of 2 hours or less is guaranteed in the unlikely event the website goes down or there are emergency changes to be made. Services will be billed as a separate invoice, with emergency labor rate reducing to $65.00 per hour.


Design Package Terms Website Package Terms Flipped Vermont will attempt everything within its power to accommodate your schedule and needs during the website building process, taking into account timing of consultations and expectations for timely deliveries of products. Flipped Vermont operates under the assumption that communication for any needs or issues on the customer’s end will be prompt, directive and clear.

Payment Terms Installments Flipped Vermont offers design packages ranging from $500.00 to $2,500.00, with a number of consultations included in the package ranging from 2 to 5. Flipped Vermont will expect the total package price to be paid in installments per each consultation. A Pure Commerce Website for $2,500.00 with 5 included consultations will expect to pay $500.00 by the end of each consultation, while a Simple/Landing Information Page for $500.00 with 2 included consultations will expect to pay $250.00 by the end of each consultation.

Squarespace Hosting Squarespace hosting fees start as low as $12.00 per month. Pricing options will have been gone over during the initial free consultation, but Flipped Vermont will reiterate that all Squarespace hosting, domain hosting/transfer, and external design expenses are expected to be paid in full by the customer.


Signature Customer & Business Networking with Flipped Vermont This design package offers a standard for two parties; the customer or business, and Flipped Vermont, to enter into business together.
