wedding planning checklist Everyone is different, but we know that wedding planning can be super stressful. Whether it’s an intimate backyard ceremony, or an extravagant destination affair, it needs to be planned! Use our guidelines to help block out the important aspects of your ceremony, and when you should think about getting them done. If you need to tackle some things we haven’t listed, write them in the spaces provided.

Start planning out your budget. Pick a ballpark wedding date. You’ll want a good idea of this before you book your venue; have a backup just in case your venue is already reserved on the day you want. Start thinking about your guest list. Research, research, research! Start looking into the vendors, location, and officiant you might want for your ceremony. Hire a wedding planner (optional) Finalize your guest list, and decide whether or not you will be allowing for plus-ones. Book your wedding venue. Book your vendors, if you’re using them. This includes photographers, florists, DJs and bands, and caterers. Book your officiant Pick out your theme/wedding colors. Try on and pick out your wedding dress! Decide on your wedding party, and pop the question. Set up your gift registries. Plan and book your honeymoon. If applicable, order jewelry and other accessories that you and your wedding party will be wearing. Order ceremony and reception decorations. Order bridesmaids dresses. _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________

Find a hair and makeup artist, and book hair and makeup test days if needed, in addition to your wedding day. Reserve any wedding day rentals, such as tables, chairs, and other reception goods. Order ceremony and reception accessories. This includes ribbons, garlands, and table centerpieces.

Have a menu tasting, and order your wedding cake. Purchase wedding day favors and your wedding party gifts. Order tuxedos/suits for the ceremony. Mail your invitations. Purchase your wedding bands.
