From Cover to Cover New Beginnings Set Free From Regret Genesis 45:1-8, 50:15-21 CSB * * * * * * * Deacon’s Meeting - Prayer Service - Business Meeting The Deacon’s Meeting will be held TODAY at 5:00PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00PM followed by a Business Meeting at 6:30PM. The monthly reports are located in the foyer by the water fountain. Celebration Choir The Celebration Choir will begin practicing for the Christmas musical TODAY at 5:00PM. Brother Jerry Hampton will be leading the choir. LCBA Annual Meeting The meeting will be held Monday, October 9 at Stanford Baptist Church. Meal at 6:00PM with the meeting following at 7:00PM. LCBA WMU Christmas Backpack Packing Party The association WMU Christmas Backpack packing party at the Lincoln County Baptist Association Office, Wednesday, October 11 at 9:00AM. It should only last about an hour. Attention ALL Youth Tree Top Adventures, Thursday, October 12. The cost is $20 plus lunch. Meet at the church at 9:30AM. See Joseph Hampton for waiver forms. Eliza Broadus Offering Thank you for supporting State Missions by giving to the Eliza Broadus Offering. Our church goal is $6,500. You may still give if you have not had an opportunity to do so; envelopes are located in the back of the pews for your convenience. Senior Trip The Seniors will be going to see the Ark Encounter Friday, October 13. The cost is $30/Adults, $28/Children, and lunch. The bus will be leaving at 9:00AM. The sign-up sheet is on the Senior Bulletin Board. The Calvary Heirs The Calvary Heirs will be in concert at Pleasant View Baptist Church Sunday, October 15 at 6:30PM. A love offering will be taken. CDs will also be available for purchase. Everyone is invited to join us for a time of worship.
Senior Luncheon The Senior Luncheonenior will be held Wednesday, October 18 at 11:30AM in the fellowship hall. It is potluck style. Please bring a side or dessert. Come and enjoy a good time of food and fellowship. Youth - DNOW DNOW is October 27-29. The cost is $10. See Joseph Hampton to sign-up. Fall Family Fun Fest October 29 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at the shelter OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD It is time to be buying goodies to fill your Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. WMU Christ Followers has sale items you have brought in throughout the year and will be happy to have any extra items you have left after you fill your boxes. We will have a packing party at our October Christ Follower's meeting. IT’S OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX TIME! We are packing shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child with Samaritan’s Purse! This ministry makes it possible for children around the world to receive a shoebox gift and hear the good news of Jesus. You may pick-up shoeboxes and guideline brochures (including label) in the sanctuary. Our OCC Shoebox Dedication service will be Sunday, November 12 at 6:00PM. You’re Invited Aaron Cook and Christina Chitwood would like to invite you to share in their joy of marriage on Saturday, October 14th. The wedding will be held at First Baptist Church 545 South Main Street, Jellico, TN at 1:30 in the afternoon. The reception will follow at The Cumberland Inn 649 South 10th Street, Williamsburg, KY.
