The Role Are you an experienced Commercial & Trade Accounts Manager looking for a fresh challenge? If so, The Accouter Group may have an opportunity for you. The Accouter Group is an award winning interior design and furnishing company based in London which has grown impressively year on year from its formation five years ago. The Group is an umbrella to 3 brands which between them have an offering spanning high end to base level furniture through interior architecture, show homes and furniture package services. We are seeking an individual with Buying experience, international experience is desirable, to start working on implementing a procurement strategy for the Group to create cost savings across the range of furniture the company offers. The successful applicant will provide the business with excellent procurement support, at a tactical and operational level, driving down cost wherever possible without compromising the required quality considerations and time-scales. You will also ensure the effective implementation and management of supply agreements, evaluation and mitigation of supply risks and delivery of procurement support in-line with quality requirements of the Accouter Group. • Taking ownership of the supply chain network for our range of bought in goods, including but not limited to upholstery, residential furniture artwork, joinery, electrical packs. • Responsible for procuring them at the optimum price level given quality and time considerations. • Develop successful working relationships with internal customers. • To identify, develop and, once agreed, implement new opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation and procurement process improvements, working closely with stakeholders to meet the Procurement objectives and targets and company’s strategic vision. • Alongside the Range Buyer, research, evaluate and qualify new suppliers to gain Design Director approval from supplier status. • Ensuring Accouter Group is protected by favorable Contractual terms and conditions that are current, relevant and enforceable. • To Support all contract reviews, order intake facilitation and develop appropriate project plans to ensure the successful delivery of customer orders.
When recruiting for a Commercial & Trade Accounts Manager, we look for individuals who are professional qualified or qualified by experience within a procurement role, ideally within a design furnishing industry however that is not essential. • You must have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with strategic thinking capability and the ability to work on own initiative when required. • Good working knowledge of Contractual terms and conditions. • Ability to influence at all levels within the organisation. • Ability to travel, both nationally and internationally as required. • Should be a good team player that is flexible and can function well under pressure. • Ability to deliver challenging KPI targets. • Have an understanding of MRP planning & Inventory value/control.
