Whilst en route, he receives a call from a colleague also driving to the same meeting so they can prepare. He can answer the call simply by pressing the answer button on the ear piece or by voice command. He still has his two hands available to drive. The sales person drives through a quiet area and wants to turn the volume down. He can do so easily by sliding his finger down the touch-sensitive volume panel.
The sales person reaches his destination and ends the call with his colleague by taking the ear piece out of his ear and flipping the boom arm up.
After the meeting, the sales person returns a call whilst walking to his car. The motion sensors automatically detect movement and background noise and adjust the volume accordingly. Wind noise reduction and noise cancelling technologies come into play so that his voice his clearly heard by the other person on the line.
