t the time of John Zera’s murder in 1976, Hales Corners police Sgt. Howard Hingiss had been on the force for two decades. During that time, the department had handled just one homicide case: A pharmacist with a history of mental illness beat his wife to death as she slept. The man was waiting at the door to confess when Hingiss’ squad car pulled up. John’s case, on the other hand, left Hingiss and his team of investigators baffled. Why did the 14-year-old freshman walk out of Franklin High School in the middle of a February day?

In a debate Tuesday night that was more controlled than the last one, the GOP presidential candidates on stage at the Milwaukee Theatre clashed over how to handle illegal immigration and international affairs, while agreeing on the need to cut taxes and prevent boosting the minimum wage to $15 an hour. “Frankly, we have to stop illegal immigration. It’s hurting us economically,” said real estate mogul Donald Trump.

Molson Coors Brewing Co. has agreed to buy its partner’s share of MillerCoors LLC, removing SABMiller PLC from the joint venture while paving the way for SABMiller to be acquired by Anheuser-Busch InBev NV.
