Who Am I? Infographic Contest Make an infographic about yourself. Don’t know how? Well, we learn by doing. I just started making my own infographics a month or two ago. See my “Who Am I?” infographic to the right? You can do much better than that. (See the larger version at the end of this document). An infographic combines pictures, graphs, and words to communicate an idea. They are super popular now, because with so much information available, and with our little mobile devices, we don’t want to read long blocks of text. Who can enter? Ukrainian students and teachers of English from ages 13 and up may submit one “Who Am I” infographic. Submit the following information in an email along with an attachment of your infographic: Name, age, city. Larger version below

Winning Submissions The best submissions will capture the essence of who you are. charts/graphics, photos, and text. We love creativity! So surprise us.

Prizes The top three “Who Am I?” infographics, chosen by a panel at the Regional English Language Office, will (1) receive a collection of 10 American English publications, including books, CDs, and games. (2) a certificate from the RELO Office at the U.S. Embassy (3) be invited to speak at our Infographic Workshop at America House (March 11, 68:30 p.m.). You’ll show the audience how you made your winning infographic. For those living outside Kyiv, travel and accommodation will be paid by the Regional English Language Office In addition, 10 Honorable Mentions will receive certificates from the Regional English Language Office at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. Deadline Send submissions as email attachments to by February 22, 2016. Winners will be announced on the RELO/Kyiv Facebook on February 29, 2016. The Infographic Workshop will take place at America House in Kyiv on March 11, 2016. All submitted works should be original. Photos and clipart used must be copyright free. By submitting, you allow the Regional English Language Office to publish your infographic online. 1

Resources Here are a few places where you design your “Who Am I infographic” online. You will need to register, but there is no cost.
