Ice Ice Baby There’s an igloo village in Finland. Go there.

What a woman wants for the holidays: ice.

tubs, not to mention a husky-led snow safari.

What you’re going to give her: an entire igloo’s worth.

Bringing the kids? Drop ‘em off at Santa’s Resort, a year-round Christmas park featuring “Santa’s House,” reindeer-drawn sleigh rides and, slightly disturbingly, gold panning that’s “under the direction of elves.”

Introducing Kakslauttanen, quite possibly the most romantic igloo hotel on Earth, booking now. Nestled in Northern Finland, Kaks is the world’s only resort featuring luxury, glass-enclosed igloos for rent, offering you nighttime views of the Northern Lights without the nethers-nipping temps of a traditional Eskimo hut.

At least it’ll give you a good way to pay for your romantic getaway.

Although there is a refreshing ice hole right next door.

Rome If You Want To New York’s Eataly just launched an online store

Authentic Italian ingredients: ridiculously good. If only they were as easy to buy as, say, Silvio Berlusconi is. Well actually they are, because New York’s super popular Italian market Eataly has just started selling online. Founded in Turin then launched in New York with the help of master chef/partner Mario Batali, Eataly peddles only the finest regional Italian delicacies, from homespun pastas, to sauces, meats, and olive oils.

You can also sort food by region and type, e.g., olive oil from Liguria or Lombardia. Almost all the items are available online, but may we suggest you start with the Piemontese vs. Prime Black Angus Package ($180) for a feast. All guaranteed to keep you almost as satisfied as Silvio. Almost.

True to the store’s manifesto “Eat. Shop. Learn”, each item on Eataly’s site comes with its own charming backstory.

Maverick Goose Stave off Frankenstorms with goose down and coyote fur

Because most winter coats are so puffy you might get roasted over a campfire, allow us to introduce this: Canada Goose’s slim new Langford Parka, the one winter coat you absolutely need for this Frankenstorm-y season, available right now. Crafted by a northern concern that’s kept Canucks toasty for over 50 years, the Langford Parka has it all: tundra-braving warmth, a clean silhouette, and a weather-wicking shell. Plus a hood. Lined with coyote fur. Each hand-sewn coat’s also stuffed with the label’s signature lightweight goosedown, and generously thigh-lengthened to keep your nethers cozy.

The result: performance outerwear suitable for

glacial itinerants as it is for winter-bound city slickers. The Langford is part of the CG’s Arctic Program, a line of thermal armor that also includes Foxe, a military-inspired bomber with snap enclosures and leather trim; the Banff, a sophisticated parka with a plentitude of pockets and ribbed “storm cuffs” to seal the heat in, and Citadel, a minimalistic collab with the upscale Japanese brand Sophnet. Even more excuses to brave the elements.

Cushy Galore Sir Ian Fleming built a villa. You can rent it.

James Bond: has a license to kill.

… I expect you to dine”).

James Bond’s creator: has a villa to rent.

As for the rooms: 20 sumptuous suites and cottages on the water with private docks, outdoor chaise lounges, and deep clawfoot tubs.

Introducing the GoldenEye Hotel and Resort, a Jamaican retreat where Sir Ian Fleming wrote everything from “Casino Royale” to “Dr. No,” available for the relaxing right now. Located on the north coast of Jamaica, the semi-secluded GoldenEye was founded in ‘46 by Fleming, who had the Herculean (well, Bond-ian) task of turning a “former donkey racetrack” into his dream property.

6

Job well done. The very un-Sandals-like retreat, set on an expansive, 52-acre property abutting the crystal-clear Oracabessa Bay, features plenty of luxe trappings: gorgeous beachfront views, private jungle, on-site spa and fresh water swimming pool, and a treehouse restaurant (“No, Mr. Bond

And for a true 007 experience, stay at the Fleming Villa — a private house with its own beach, pool, garden and staff, as well as Sir Ian’s writing desk, where the author turned out all his Bond classics. Sorry, Holly Goodhead not included.
